Mazda isn’t just about selling you fun cars, it’s about more than that—Mazda wants to give back, too. That’s why they’re celebrating their second year of Red Cross donations.
These donations are part of the Annual Disaster Giving Program, and Mazda stands out by being the very first U.S. automaker to become a $1-million member. The program, run by Red Cross, provides support and relief to those affected by natural disasters. The Disaster Giving Program is reliant upon giving, which is where Mazda comes in!
This year, Mazda donated 16 vehicles to the Red Cross, one more than the 15 they donated last year as Mazda’s largest vehicle donation of its kind. With this donation, Red Cross will be able to replace their old or broken vehicles. This means Red Cross can get to those in need more safely and reliably thanks to all-new vehicles.
“Through the Mazda Drive for Good program, Mazda has the ability to work with strong non-profit partners throughout the United States – and the American Red Cross continues to provide an incredible partnership sharing similar values as ours,” said Robert Davis, senior vice president of U.S. operations at MNAO.
Mazda and Red Cross make for a powerful (and helpful) partnership. If you are interested in seeing Mazda’s lineup of safe vehicles, stop by and see us at Mazda of Lake Charles today!
