In Louisiana, you might not experience the leaf-color changes like in New England or the sudden temperature drop like in Denver. But that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate fall! Here are some fall festivals you can go to in and around Lake Charles, near Mazda of Lake Charles.
Chuck Fest – In Downtown Lake Charles on October 15th, you’ll get free admission to Chuck Fest, a festival full of food, music, art, and spirits—but to be clear, it will be the alcoholic kind, not the ghost kind.
“Terrific Treat” Fall Festival – This festival, thrown by KZWA 104.9, will be hosted in the MLK Community Center in Lake Charles on October 27th, and is sure to be fun for the whole family. It’s a free event and has great food, fun Halloween games, and candy!
Halloween Harvest Festival 2016 – Why stand at the door and greet trick or treaters on October 31st when you can go to this free event at the Civic Center? There will be games, a train ride, balloons, and face art here.
Ragley Heritage and Timber Festival – This event in Ragley will cost you $5 a car, but there’s plenty of fun that comes with that! There are wagon and train rides, music, magic, a petting zoo, and of course, food! Head to it on October 15th.
